A 12h. pony went from the kill pen to being a much loved member of the family in Ca. He belongs to this adorable little girl.
A 24yr. old Morgan (missing one eye) came to us in such a starved condition, we were not sure he would survive, but he did and was adopted to the best home on Long Island! We still get updates on him, he is their baby. Shaun was not a feedlot horse, he was our first adoption before we became aware of plight of the doomed horses. There is a great home for all, it just takes time.
Jamie has been adopted! What could have a more perfect ending for a police horse who has spent many years. of his life in service to us!
“Tinkerbell” and “Tiger Lilly” both in foal, were slaughter bound! Loved and adopted TOGETHER!!
ADOPTED
Rusty is a 7yr, 15h gelded horse. He was rescued from a meat auction, he has been with us for a year now. He is a real people horse! No vices, and rides eng. and western. He was ready to be adopted 4 mos. ago when he suffered an injury to his leg. We spared nothing to get him back to his original self, he went to a specialist and was given a program which we followed. He is in VT right now and loves to be with other horses as well as people. He is all sweetness, and handsome too. A great trail horse, we even took him to a local show and he got a blue ribbon!
