She is a one eyed 4yr. old mustang mare green broke. 14.3h. A real beauty with feet that are hard as rocks (she has not had them trimmed in 1 1/2 yr. and STILL doesn’t need it!! That’s part of being a Mustang. Her adoption fee is $500.00.
An older gentleman (in his 20′s) who was rescued from auction, from the photos we saw he looked to be in good flesh, apparently he was sent to a foster and was discovered there emaciated! We are resolving several issues with him, but he is responding beautifully to TLC and consistent food. We have not evaluated him as far as what job he has done, but he told an animal communicator that he was once well loved and did “a lot of showing”! ha, quite a guy, he also said he wants to work again. We believe he also is a driving horse. Sweet and appreciative is how I would describe his character. FEE: $300.00.
A 4yr. old youngster. During hurricane Irene his barn collapsed, he and 2 other colts were housed in a horse trailer. Their owner was not able to care for them and had no running water on the property. All three were rescued, gelded vaccinated wormed and got all the care they needed, rain rot was a concern but everything has been resolved itself. He had also suffered a broken jaw, which has mended nicely with just a minor cosmetic flaw. He is a thoroughbred horse and oh, so calm and level…hard to believe he is so young. He will be a big boy and we are letting him continue to be a kid until the spring when he will be broke to ride. Right now he’s getting the ground work he needs. FEE: $500.00.
10 yr.TB mare, 15.1h. Ellie is the best girl!! She was very emaciated on arrival. and it took some months to be able to ride her and evaluate her. But when we did she was such a sweet surprise! She has never disappointed us not even once when we asked her to do something, she did it. She loves going to work and is a lovely mover, trots over X rails w.t.c. goes on trails, we have yet to see her spook! FEE: $1,000.00.
At 3yrs. of age he is remarkable! He is 14.2h a beautiful mover and a fearless trail horse, he will go out alone or in company, a very sane guy. Easy to ride sweet as he is talented and beautiful! FEE: $3000.00.
5yr. old Dutch harness cross. Dark bay/blk gelding. 14.1 h. broke to ride, great on trails. This guy arrived from an auction in Pa. where the horses not sold or rescued from a group such as ours, would be trucked to Mexico or Canada. All or the equines we have for adoption come to us via this pipeline. He was not halter broke when we got him, now he is a solid citizen and ready for his forever home.
